Maybe even larger. I cut off about an inch of damaged wrapper on the foot of a cigar that I bought mail order (they credited my account). If I were smoking a Churchill on my telework day and I was at the one inch mark when the phone rang summoning me to the office, I'd just cut of the end and start over.
